Add User

See Pre-requisites for User creation for what you need before creating a User.

Adding a User can be broken down into two major steps:

  1. Create New User
  2. Fill in User Information
Note: Mandatory fields are marked with an ‘*’. The following steps assume that the user is already logged in to the CMS.

Create New User

Steps to create a new User
  1. Go to the User Icon.pngUser tab.
  2. Select Add.pngADD NEW. Go to Fill in User Information.

Fill in User's information
  1. Fill in the necessary fields (Fullname, Username, Email).
  2. Select the "Role" of the user from the dropdown list (Optional).
    • See Add Role to learn how to add a Role to the CMS.
      Note: Users need a Role to login to the CMS but not the Digital Twin.
  3. Choose the authenticating method.
    1. You can choose from two methods - Password or OpenID Connect (OIDC):
      • Password:
      1. Enter password.
      2. Confirm entered password.
      • OIDC:
      1. Enable OIDC by Oidc.pngenabling OIDC USER.
      2. Fill in "OIDC ID".
  4. Select "SUBMIT" (top right corner) to add the User.
